What we look for in candidates: 

• Office assistants to department chairs (support physicians) should have a minimum of four years of experience, medical terminology a must, and AS or BS degree is preferred. 
• Office assistants to support departments within LHMC and local offices should have three to four years of administrative experience and medical terminology is strongly preferred. 
• Medical secretaries and receptionists should have one to three years of previous experience in a similar role.

 

All candidates should have:

• A passion to help patients 
• Solid computing skills Microsoft office, EPIC a plus 
• Excellent phone and customer service 
• Medical office experience preferred
