Lahey Hospital & Medical Center serves more than 3,000 patients per day through our 335-inpatient hospital beds, our ambulatory care center, 24-hour emergency department and American College of Surgeons verified Level I trauma center.  And we are continuing to grow, which means excellent opportunities for Ambulatory and Emergency Department (ED) experienced Registered Nurses. 


Our Ambulatory Clinics have opportunities in multiple disciplines and patient needs across the hospital.

  • Hematology/Oncology

  • Neurology & Neurosurgery
  • Endocrinology
  • Rheumatology
  • Nephrology
  • Urology/Gynecology

  • 44 beds in over 45,000 square feet
  • New entrances with a sun-filled reception area
  • A convenient imaging suite
  • Pharmacy
  • Fast-track area
  • Behavioral health suite

  • Family waiting area and a family consultation room
Registered Nurses
  • BSN  strongly preferred
  • One year of previous nursing experience in acute care or sub-acute setting
  • A minimum of one year of ED experience required 
  • Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license required 
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification
  • LPN license is required
  • New grads welcome
  • Current license to practice nursing from the Massachusetts board of registration.  Must maintain BLS certification
Medical Assistants
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, and graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant program or has obtained a Medical Assistant Certification (CCMA, CMA, RMA)
  • Certification required upon hire and maintained if not a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program
