Laboratory Professionals – opportunities abound at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center
Lahey Hospital & Medical Center has received a grant from the State of Massachusetts to conduct 6,000 COVID tests weekly, resulting in opportunities for Medical Technologists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Laboratory Technicians, and Specimen Processors.
As part of our CAP Accredited Lab team, you will work with a dynamic team of clinical professionals where there is always a pathologist available or on call.

About Our Opportunities
Medical Technologists (MT)
A bachelor’s degree in medical technology or medical laboratory science including a laboratory internship at an institution certified by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS), eligibility for certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) Board of Registry, or by American Medical Technologists (AMT) for medical laboratory personnel is required.
Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT)
An associate degree including laboratory internship at an institution certified by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) and certification eligibility by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) Board of Registry), or by American Medical Technologists (AMT) for medical laboratory personnel are required.
Laboratory Technicians
A bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science is required. Previous laboratory experience is preferred, but new grads will be considered.
Specimen Processors
A high school diploma is required. Previous experience in a lab is a plus, but not required.
*Available for full-time Medical Technologists, Medical Lab Techs and Lab Technicians. A pro-rated sign-on bonus is also available for part-time Medical Technologists, Medical Lab Techs and Lab Technicians. Per diem and specimen processor positions are not eligible for sign-on bonuses at this time.
